Spec me a semi-waterproof camera

My sister is going to Australia for a year and is after a compact camera that she can take. Ideally she's after one she can use on the beach and not have to worry about getting sand on the camera or water splashed on the lens etc.

Looking at a budget of around about £200

The Olympus Mju Tough range always get decent review in this area as do I believe the Panasonic rugged cameras. I have a really cheap fuji that is waterproof to 10m, dust prrof and cold proof and we've had some great fun with it at the beach/pool on holiday and even got some nice shots snorkeling on the barrier reef.
