Looking to build a new server.......

All its going to be doing is PHP, IIS, Windows Server 2003 and MySQL.....and lots of data storage....

I also need it on the cheap....sub 500 preferable....

RAID 5 as data and uptime will be important...

Multiple PSU if possible...or something reliable...
 
Really impatient tonite....

This server is for home use, so i cant be blowing it all on a hp rack mount. I also dont have a rack at home.

Im gonna mirror 2 200gb hard disks.
Simple case
Decent PSU
Dual Core Pentium D 805 CPU
Cheap Mobo
2nd NIC
1gb DDR 2
and a DVD-ROM Drive

Which i managed to pull off for £260 delivered....with some competitior shizzle...(what can i say...overclockers arent renowned for cheap and tackey £10 cases)...
 
Looks nice....im getting paid £500 to build this site and host it for a year....

Im gonna host it from home coz I got a 1.5mb upload and its not going to get too many hits.....

One dude said he'd do the job for £5k and they jus laughed at him so i felt a little oppertunity to make some cash....

Wanted to keep it on the cheap to maximise profit...

And my current web server is a Pentium 3 in serious need of replacing...so something like that sounds tastey...
