Spec me a shiny suit

Thanks guys. I think I just have to go look in the shops tomorrow and see what fits the bill. This is the sort of thing I mean,

Too pricey for me though, I'll have to see what I can get that's similar but cheaper,

^^ This. Especially if you're going to get a shiny one that makes you look like an immigrant from the 1980s.

As others have said, 100 is a bit tight for a suit to look anywhere near decent.

If you increase your budget to even £150, some of the better M&S range would be grand, or for something a bit more trendy, Zara suits fit well and are of suprisingly decent quality.

If you want shiny, why not just get 100% polyester? :D

Joking aside though, £100 is scraping the barrel a bit. If you can stretch to £150-200 then you get a lot more options. In that price range I'd check out M&S and Next, and it would also be worth checking out Moss Bros and Suits You to see if they have anything reduced in there (yarr, there be bargains to be had matey!).

Try and get to a store who will do bespoke in London, or even one of the better chains, before you spend £100 on a High Street suit.

Is money or time the more important factor?

I don't want grey by the way, it was just the sheen on the fabric I was showing. I want the colour and cut more like ben sheperd is wearing in that video I linked. Or maybe in a navy'ish blue. And yeah, I will probably have to spend more. Hmm, I hardly wear suits, but then again, I most likely will need one again at some point, and having one I really like wearing could be worth the extra money.
