Spec me a 'short' GTX 560Ti factory overclocked graphics card

I have just bought myself a new Asus GTX560 Ti Direct CUII Top graphics card, for a Silverstone SFF system, based on the dimensions stated on Asus website, which said it was 9" long.

However I now find that it is nearly an inch longer than this, and I don't think that it will fit in my case. (Asus have already admitted thge error, and have said that it will be corrected!).

I have therefore been looking for'shorter' cards, and have come up with the Gainward 'Golden Sample' model, which does appear be be only about 9" long and a similar card by Palit, which looks to be almost identical. These also have the advantage of having the power connectors on the 'top' rather than at the 'back'.

Can anyone recommend any other alternative cards for me to consider, please?

Thanks, that is actually the Gainward 'Golden Sample' card I mentioned above, and I think is my preferred choice... at the moment!

Funny you should say that... I have just been reading their review of it! :)

It is a pity that OcUK don't stock that particular model, so I had to order one elsewhere.

The Asus card was definitely too long, and the USB 3 cable got in way as well, which didn't help, so that one is going back!

Hopefully I will get there in the end! :)

A quick update... just in case anyone is still interested! ;)

The Gainward GS card has now arrived, and I was amazed to find that it is about 50mm 'shorter' than the Asus... and so far as I can see the factory overclock settings are identical on both cards. (Core Clock: 900 MHz; Shader Clock:1800 MHz; Memory Clock: 4200 MHz)

The Gainward has a 'proper' HDMI socket also!

Now to get it installed and 'checked out'! :)
