Spec me a Shredder

... not the Ninja Turtle antagonist kind.

I've been looking for a decent cross cut shredder for a small office. Budget up to £50.

All the reviews I've seen on the rainforest seem to split between "5 Stars - It's Awesome" and "1 Star - lasted 2 weeks".

Anyone got any recommendations?

If you have an awful lot of paper to shred, I suggest burning it.

It's much more fun, and will probably be quicker.

The Bush one i have is great. Search 925/4493 on the argos website to find it.

Had mine a while now and hasn't missed a beat

Shred then burn is the way forward. Goes up in flames stupidly quick

We've always filled a box then burnt it, problem is the box starts getting huge and takes up too much space. Hence the desire to shred!

You'd think

but burning stuff at home is difficult, so we end up storing it until we go to my parents, which isn't very often
