I currently have a sn41g2 system that is knocking on 4 years old, and I feel it’s time for a change, I’m still using an amd 2500, I’m a little out of sync when it comes to graphics cards, duel core or core duo…. Or whatever is the latest!
If you had £400 what you go for (monitor not needed) i do like the shuttles and would like to stay with them, but don't really have a clue to which one to get.

Okay, what would you like from the Shuttle? Overclockability? Good graphics?

£400 is quite a tight budget really, especially if you want a decent graphics card.

If you do want to keep it around £400 and you can't move on that. Try using this Memory and CPU

£35.24 inc VAT

£405.30 inc VAT That would be your new total.

Another note I should just mention is maybe check that those 2x2gb modules are compatable with the system if you decide to go for those. does the mobo supply enough volts for instance. :)

I could also speck you a Core 2 Duo system if you like. It will perform the same but probably overclock better, considering the law of averages and chance. It may also cost slightly more.

Worth noting aslo is that you have £100-£150 capital locked up in your old sn41g2 depending on specs, should you not want to keep that you could sell it on. (myself I would probably keep it as a spare but I just can't seem to get enough hardware lol)
