I'm looking to get a new keyboard for christmas as my current one (One of those Microsoft comfort curve ones) sounds like a tin box full of nails when I'm typing on it.
I'm not too fussed on whether its mechanical or not I just like the feel of a mechanical keyboard for typing on, I think its the longer keystroke on the mecahnical keyboards that I like as I hate laptop keyboards because the key travel is only a couple of mm.
I'm more interested in a good keyboard for typing on rather than gaming as the sound of this keyboard drives me nuts, and my dad especially if he's in the next room trying to work or sleep while I'm typing away frantically at 3 in the morning at an essay.
