Spec me a sim only contract (£10)

I just got off the phone with Three and demanded my PAC code after discovering they were charging me £10 p/m even though the deal i negotiated over the phone was for £8. Not huge money but the principle peed me off something rotten.

Anyway, I need a new sim only deal and would ideally like to spend less than £10 p/m with at least 2gb of data (4gb would be more than enough). Calls and texts are irrelevant as i hardly use any of either of them.

My dad, who I live with, has a contract with EE and I was wondering if anyone knows if that might mean I could get a contract with them also on a much better deal? The regular EE prices are a bit too much really.

The only other thing to mention is that i'd really like to be able to use tethering/hotspot.

Thanks

EE only offer 10% off for second lines. Virgin Mobile currently do 4gb data for £9 a month (uses EE network) but don't expect any customer service for that price.

PlusNet are currently doing £10pm for 6 GB data, unlimited texts and unlimited calls.

I should really switch over myself.

I was just about to post about them to see what people think of them. I'm probably gonna go for it as it includes tethering and its a 1 month rolling contract so i've nothing to lose really.

Pretty happy with Giffgaff myself, was going to recommend them. My girlfriend's parent use PN for their home internet, reckon they can wangle any sort of deal through that? The one above is pretty good if it's a 1 month rolling. I like the fact my Giffgaff one isn't a contract...

I have just signed a new sim only contract with EE £9 4gb unlimited calls and text EU roaming with 6 other countries. They said they would price match any deal I could find.

I've been on this for the last 6 months with no issues, they roll over any unused data as well which is handy.

After a bit of googling it seems Virgin dont allow tethering so i've gone ahead with the Plusnet deal. Its only a 1 month rolling contract jobbie so i'll just cancel if the speeds are poor and whatnot.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm currently on T-Mobile Full Monty all you can eat data at £20 but limited to 3G, was tempted with the 20gb offers from EE for the same price to get 4G but if the speed is slightly slower and I can get half the data for half the price I might try the Plusnet deal.

Personally I'd get back in touch & see what they say.
I've been with them for years & my current deal is 12gb data 600 min & unlimited text. Tethering & roaming included for £14pm.
