im considering making a move towards smaller form factors, my current pc although capable of doing everything i want is a little too large

i have the majority of components and they are all under 6 months old list is as follows

i5 2500k
corsair A50 cooler (will more than likely change for a self contained water cooled unit)
kingston hyper x genesis grey 1600mhz dual channel (2x4gb)
sapphire 7850
samsung blu ray optical drive
seagate barracuda 1tb hdd
cosair force 3 60gb ssd

i have a mother board and psu but these will be changed for the new build so i havent included them in the spec

as far as i can see the only items i will need are a new mother board, psu (i will be going modular to help with the smaller case size) and a new case

i have a few requirements of the new motherboard

would like it to be crossfire capable at a decent speed
needs to have more than 2 sata 6 connections
preferable to be Z77 as i may want to upgrade to ivy later.

the psu also needs to be able to support 2 7850s as i will be buying another 7850 and needs to be modular

the budget is around £200 per item max unless there are exceptional circumstances.

thanks for the help

personally i like fractal's offering on the matx cases

YOUR BASKET
1 x Fractal Design Define Mini Computer Case - Black £74.99
1 x Fractal Design Arc Mini Tower Case - Black £69.98
Total : £157.27 (includes shipping : £10.25).

arc mini for airflow, define mini for noise dampening

the mvg as u mentioned already, that's the best matx mobo at the moment, but if you wanna drop it down a notch, the gb z77mx is also a pretty decent board

YOUR BASKET
1 x Asus Z77 Maximus V Gene Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £154.99
1 x Gigabyte Z77MX-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £99.98
Total : £266.38 (includes shipping : £9.50).

i prefer the look of the asus, tbh as thats what it comes down to between those two as they do both of the things i require. ill go with asus, the gigabyte board i have now is decent but i hate the blue

also with reference to the cases, i have been looking at both of those and its a difficult one, i like them both for different reasons, the define mini just looks so quality
