Hey folks, i'm currently learning to drive and i've started to look for a car for when i pass. Because i'm registered disabled i'll be getting it via the Motability Scheme which limits my options a bit. It also means the car will be new as i can't afford to buy anything second hand as yet. I'll also have to live with it for 3 years before i have to give it back.
I've made a list and i want to hear peoples opinions and experiences with the following cars

Fiat 500/Panda/Punto
VW Polo/Fox
Seat Ibiza
Citreon C3
Skoda Fabia
Renault Clio
Pug 207
Nissan Micra
Ford Fiesta

The Fiat Panda is the one i've been looking at the most but i am open to other ideas

Thanks

Fiat Panda
Nissan Micra
Ford Fiesta

That would be my short list :). Out of those 3 my preference would be the Ford Fiesta in Zetec or above trim. Is the Zetec-S an option?

Unfortunately not :( The Zetec S would use up all my daily allowence and i would be needing that for petrol

I definitely want something thats good to drive as well, not just looking for a car that will just take me from A to B :)

Fiat Panda 100hp an option? :)

What budget are we talking here?

It's difficult to recommend cars if we don't know which generation of models.
Either way, I'd avoid the Fox, C3 and any Pugs straight away.

I wish it was, i've heard it's a cracking car but again it would use all the allowence.

Ah ok, the search has expired, but is there a Mini on there?

Out of that list, I'd probably go with a Polo or a Fiat 500.
Or a Fiesta as it's quite funky, or the Punto if you want something a bit bigger.

Shame there's no Citroen DS as that's pretty funky too. Damn sight better than a C3 as well.

Oops, thats my fault.

There wasn't a Mini on there, they're quite expensive in that i'd lose all the weekly allowence and have to pay a deposit on it for just the Mini One whereas i could get the Fiat Punto Evo for no deposit and half of my weekly allowence.

Here's a linky that should work. Linky
