OH wants a new car, doesn't like her S reg KA anymore. Does about 8k a year, needs to be small cause she can't park. Nothing bigger than a Punto/Corsa/etc so no Mondeo's or Focii please (I've already tried!).

I think I've managed to talk her out of financing a new Corsa and got her to spend a reasonable amount. Budget of about £5k max, needs to look nice and be a nice place inside. Reliable is a pro as it's used to get her too and from uni each week. No real need for a massive boot or uber power engine, infact a small 1.2 would be ideal.

She wants it to be as new as possible and has done as fewer miles as possible. I've explained this isn't the be-all-and-end-all but Sammy gets what Sammy wants!

I would agree a newish fiesta fits the bill perfectly, lots of good deals for nearly fairly new ones at the moment.

Try and get zetec or ghia spec and heated front windscreen is option to look out for.

How do people pass their driving test if they ''can't park'' ? Surely any car with PDC should be fine ?

But as above, Fiesta.

That was me taking the **** out of her a bit, she was next to me as I wrote it. She doesn't want anything bigger for the simple fact she likes having a small car. She won't even entertain the idea of a Focus etc.

The world’s smallest roundabout is on the B247, in Walliesbottom, Sussex. It encircles a pond with a diameter of 1.25 metres, which used to be in the back garden of Marcus Sodbury’s house. When the new road was built in 2002, Mr. Sodbury’s house was demolished to make way for it, but due to a byelaw dating back to the 16th Century, the pond had to be preserved, and the road had to go around it, rather than to the side, “lest Lucifer find his way o’er the vacant side of the lane.”

sounds perfect for you have fun!
