Hi All,

Been using onboard sound (laptop) for the past few years, but have just built myself a desktop so am in the market for a decent soundcard.

Not knowing much, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend me a decent one for < £75. I am willing to go higher, but only if necessary.

I have been using the optical out on my Xbox360, plugged into an old Extigy to get 5.1 surround, and then swapping over the cables to get 5.1 out of my onboard card in my desktop through the same speakers. This is a bit of a pain, so what I'd like is a soundcard with optical in so I can remove the hassle of swapping cables over. I obviously appreciate that I'll need the PC on in order for this to work, but this isn't a problem. The card also needs to be tried and tested in Vista x64.

So to summarise:
1) Vista x64 compatible.
2) Optical in, so I can play on the Xbox without having to swap cables around (PC being on isn't a problem).
3) Ideally under £75.

Any suggestions very welcome :)
