I'd really like to get one to make some courgettis instead of eating so many carbs all the time.

However there seem to be a wide range of spiralizers from a fiver off eBay to £60 posh ones. There are also handheld, vertical and horizontal so basically there's way too much choice out there

Which type is best, and how much do I need to spend? Let me know what spiralizers you use please :D

Help me, courgetti eaters of OcUK, you're my only hope :p

Well, if it knocks one off the list.. I bought my girlfriend the Gefu Spirelli and it's rubbish. At least with carrots anyway. We tried to use it twice and it's been in the box ever since :( I think you need one of the bigger ones with a stand and a handle etc.

Same it's absolutely rubbish, not fit for purpose.
Whish I got one of the hand cranked ones like above.

After using it, I don't see how any of the push in and rotate ones could actually work.

Have you tried aubergine on it? Although I doubt any would work with aubergine, thanks to it's foamy texture that tears easily.

Aubergine is by far the best.
