As title, got £14.99 as steam credit as a refund from TDU 2.

I'm not going to say what genre I would prefer as I wouldn't mind playing something new.

Forget the game of the year version [it wasnt a game of the year] as most of the DLC isn't worth it and two pieces that you might want to get later won't exceed the price difference.

Or maybe the Mass Effect games in anticipation of 3 coming next month. Might be worth you listing what you already have.
 
IL2 Cliffs of Dover- a flight sim/game with gorgeous graphics, and I bet you havn't flown A Spitfire before. Only £10 on Steam.

If you want a replacement of TDU - get NFS Shift 2 Unleashed. A very good arcade/sim racing game with fantastic visuals.
 
Oops, IL2:CLoD has gone back in price :(

I would suggest getting Mirror's Edge- that is on sale -£5. The original hardcore FPS platformer with very good physics.
 
Fallout 3 £14.99. 2nd best game ever after Half-Life 2 (IMO)

* it does tend to be much cheaper in the sales

The Chronicles of Riddick™ Assault on Dark Athena £14.99
It comes with remastered first part, Escape from Butchers Bay. Absolutely great game, just finished it yesterday.Highly recommend.
It comes with TAGES, which can put some people off. On my side I had not a single issue with it.

Dragon age has to be one of my favourite games to have come out for many years and I generally hate games these days. Don't bother with the second one though.

FO3 was very fun to play but only once I had modded it to the extreme with overhaul mods like FCOM, making the game a lot more harder too.

Dragon age 1 is one of the very best games ever made, I liked 2 but it wasn't in the same league
