Spec me a.... stick?

I'm a seasoned Kodi user, but would like to have a means to mirror my ipad with my TV, primarily for TV catchup such as iPlayer and 4OD.

I thought Chromecast may do this but upon reading it seems it only mirrors Chrome, is that right?

Is there any means of completely dislaying my iPad output to the TV, from any and all apps?

I think Amazon do one which can be jailbroken or whatever you call it

There is an app for the Fire (TV) that allows you to use airplay to mirror to your TV.

Mirroring is never as useable as you'd think it will be. Casting a video/stream to a chromecast is far more useful IMHO. I think The iplayer supports chromecasting though I've never used that on iOS.

I have a chromecast as well as a nuc with openelec on my TV. I use the chromecast for Netflix, iPlayer, Youtube and Vimeo. Interestingly you can cast from from Apple devices to a chromecast fine (well it works on the ipad 3 and the 1st gen mini).
