Spec me a super computer

The 965 costs far more and the 920 is readily overclockable to 965 speeds. Far better spending the money on other bits - nicer/dual monitors, for example.

As an owner of a 965 I concur they are not worth the extra, I was contemplating selling mine and buying a B serial 920 which oc's really well.

Im too lazy though, computer is running fine so I'll just leave it till Westmere next year.

any graphics card would be a bottleneck on that IBM cause it has so much processing power anyway lol

would avoid the corsair SSD's as read they are even slower than regular HDDs.

if money os no object would definately go for something along the lines of i7 965 build with crossfire or SLI, intel SSDs in raid

Should be much faster 8 cores with another 8 hyperthreads, support for 1600Mhz DDR3 EEC. Rumour is that Asus will have a high end workstation board out in time for the launch of the CPU's, should have good overclocking options as well.

Come on guys, you can do better than this - where's all that watercooling goodness too, lets load up that shopping cart!!!

There will be a skulltrail 2 board which uses 4 core Xeon CPU's.

There will also be a large server board that will have quad sockets using 4 core / 8 core CPU's from the Xeon range.

So its going to be I5 then 17 then 17 duel CPU for the desktop market, then duel and quad socket for the server market.

Theres not much point in getting the Thermochills and the Coolermaster case.
Go for a TJ07, as they will easily fit a triple and a double in the bottom.

Although if you wanted to mod it slightly you could but a triple in the bottom and then a triple in the top.

The problem with the Thermochills and the Cosmos is that all rads *i think* will ift in the top, apart from the Thermochil, if you were adamant on that case, then go for a Black Ice 360 in the top, and you would then have to mod the floor of the case to get the 240 in
