currently using a pair of Archer C6s in the house, one upstairs one down stairs
Downstairs is connected directly to a VM hub 3.0 in modem only mode and serves my media centre (wired) and a second identical C6 is hard wired to this to cover upstairs for wifi
the issue and only issue i have is that they dont switch seamlessly (both called home wifi) and i constantly have to disconnect and reconnect wifi to get a strong signal when going from upstairs to down stairs
speed wise they appear fine but the wifi switching is a complete pita and i wouldn't mind a bit more oomph on wireless if upgrading
anyone suggest an easy fix for auto switching devices (happens on both android and ios devices) and can anyone recommend a decent wireless setup to replace these without spending silly money but will give proper hand over to the strongest signal and be seamless in doing so?
the wired performance is absolutely fine with gigabit all over the house point to point without issue
