Spec me a system £800 to spend

Not a iSSD version AFAIK. Gigabyte has some motherboard with built-in SSDs.

But it's a well featured motherboard with a good design. That'd be my choice for a good quality mid-range board.

I should have said it has Intel® Smart Response Technology built in. It's supposed to help speed up HDD access. Thanks for all your help Ollie really appreciate it

After all your help[ guys I thought I'd better report back on the build. Build went well, Windows loaded no problem. I ran memtest twice, both times overnight once with 8gig aqnd the second time with 16gig. Both times it reported no errors. however, this was at stock speed
Naturally after saying I wasn't going to overclock, I decided to give it a go. There is a lot more items in the new type uefi BIOS. Anyway, the only thing I've changed is the multplier and I'm getting 4.3GHz. I ran prime a couple of times, the most recent for an hour

Temps at idle and under load. Do you think these temps are ok?

Memory and spd

OCing info

The OC returns to stock once the CPU is not under load. Is this the best way to have it? I tried the extreme setting in AI suite but I got BSOD's, I think this was because it was also upping the frequency from 100 to 103.5. Are there any other setting I should change? All advice welcome

Try "Intel Burn Test"

Prime95 isn't the greatest (In my own personal experiences it can run fine for 8 hours and you still wont have a stable everyday overclock) For this reason I don't use it or like it anymore.

You will want to up the voltage a little on the CPU... Stock volts at 4.3Ghz is a little ambitious if you ask me.

Hi Buchanan. Once again thanks for yor help.

You will want to up the voltage a little on the CPU... Stock volts at 4.3Ghz is a little ambitious if you ask me.

I ran IBT and it passed at the stock voltage. When you say to up the voltage a little, what would you recommend?

These are the temps
