Hi all,

My cousin is bringing a 480 GTX from HongKong, he is interested to set up a rig that accommodate this power-hungry monster. He is expecting to spend less than 500 quids for it (without OS, peripherals).

Please spec me a system with enough power to avoid "bottlenecking the performance".

Many thanks!

i7 doesnt offer any advantages (in fact its actually slightly slower with single card set ups), and in fact if youre not OCing i5 will be better as it has a more agressive turbo boost, though you can ditch the aftermarket cooler if not clocking which will bring you in under budget

so stock i5 760 is actually faster than stock i7 930? Would def go for i5 then
