Having finally got a decent gfx card (5850) I'm looking to build a new rig to complement it, as I'm starting to outgrow my current rig.
All I need is CPU, RAM, Mobo and a decent cooler. I'll be getting a new case (got my eye on the NZXT phantom, despite what you all say!) so space isn't an issue. Budget, however, is.
I'm torn between i5, i7, and the 1055T for the CPU. The AMD option looks like good value, but having always been with intel I don't know how easy they are to OC or any other details I should know about. I just want something that will last me a good few years without bottlenecking any gfx upgrades I might pick up along the way.
Motherboard needs to be a good clocker, and leave room for xfire/sli, but beyond that anything will do. Stability is the key factor for me here
RAM: if it works and doesn't hinder overclocking, then anything is fine. 4GB should be more than enough for my uses.
Budget: would like to keep it under £400 if possible (not including case), but will stretch a bit if it's worth it.
This is what I came up with so far (comes to £404 without case)
Mainly, because I'm clueless with regards to what AMD boards are like (or CPUs for that matter) I'd like to see how it compares and if it would be a good value for money option. Cheers peeps

There are a few apps/games I've noticed that I'm cpu-limited in. Most obvious is BC2 where my GPU never goes over 80% usage because my cpu is holding it back. It's mainly just the itch to upgrade, but perhaps I'd be smart to wait until Sandybridge and bulldozer are out before making a decision. Damn you reason!
