Spec me a system

Hi, looking for a new rig and will not need a monitor, peripherals or os, will only need the tower unit, I'm looking to mainly use this rig to run a minecraft server for 20+ people 24/7, the rig will need wifi, need to be quiet and low power consumption, will need quite a lot of ram, the rig will be left in the loft out of the way, budget is around the £600 mark

why get a hi-end board and pair it with a Pentium?
get a midrange board and add a wireless pci-e card if you need wifi.

i would also pick a different case.

If its going to by put a the back of the loft then I would ensure that it has plenty of dust filters, or you could end up having to spend a lot of time cleaning it out.

ok came up with this from whats suggested, will add a wifi card in but wont need a dvd drive, added a better case, with good airflow and can put dust filters all over.

pity, the micro-atx version of the case is out of stock.

not sure what kind of cpu power is needed to run a minecraft server but would a Sandybridge Celeron/Pentium suffice?

you sure you need that much RAM
if you do, i would get these instead, due to being low profile.

you also mentioned you wanted the system to be quite, so maybe add a aftermarket cooler
