Spec me a tablet

Hi All,

As I have my first pay day soon, I thought I would treat myself to a tablet.

Ideally I would like to buy iPad 2 or alternative with Android OS, but at the same time I wouldn't like to spend £500 on a tablet.

Are there any good cheap (> £200) alternatives to expensive tablets?

I would like to have built-in GPS, WiFi, 3G would be very nice (but I don't mind tethering from my phone) nice big screen and good battery life, is it possible to get all of these for less than £200?

EDIT: Seems like I put the thread in wrong section, can a mod move it please? :) Sorry for that

For less than £200 I think the best option spec wise would be to source an HP Touchpad, see how you get on with webos (which isn't actually that bad, just no apps) and install Android as soon as the CM rom is available. It doesn't have 3G but should tether to a phone. I sold my iPad 2, got a Touchpad and am doing just that! :D

I'd recommend posting in a different sub-forum.

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=80 - Mobile Phones and Tablets.

Probably the best place to have a look, as it has more Tablet interest in that forum, as it doesn't really belong in the Laptops section no more.

However for £200 you're possibly looking for a second hand original Galaxy Tab. Should be around the £200 price range.

The Nook Color?

Amazon Kindle Fire?

AndyPAD?

Advent Vega?

Have a browse in the link i provided, and if you can't see anything you like, posted up a spec me in there as it will gain more views and a more concentrated response :).
