Anyone got any good recomendations for this?

I am using a product called "East text to html converter" just now which is great (its FREE) but it isn't quite as flexible as I would like.

You will always be better off coding the HTML without one of these auto converters. But i do believe word will save it as a web site. If you already have word ofc and i would hazard a guess that open office will do too...

I don't even get what the product does!? Does it just wrap everything in paragraph tags?

If you know nothing about HTML, like I do, it allows me to convert standard text to HTML format so I can highlight, underline, embold etc etc

Try TinyMCE - click the HTML button (right hand side, top row) to get the HTML code when you're done. Just copy/paste your source text in and make your changes (or copy HTML into the HTML Source Editor bit to re-edit something at a later date).

It's pretty easy to learn how to do it manually mind.

Just use it in your browser :).

TinyMCE is meant to run on websites, to allow people to say update their products' descriptions without having to know HTML but you can hijack it for what you're wanting to do.

OK Pho - it sounds exactly like what I need.

However, when you say "just use it in your browser" - that means nothing to me, I am afraid.

I am fairly intelligent but have so little time which is why i dont learn HTML myself. Is there a simple step by step method to using this or is it gonne be easier to learn HTML?

After I open a browser window, what then? Nothing has changed in my broswer. Is unzipping the file meant to change icons in my browser or something?

You don't need to download anything at all, just use the link I posted above. A picture tells a thousand words and all :):

Once you click on the HTML button copy what comes up and that's your HTML all done for you.

Did you even read the start guide on the tinymcs website, or just lcik download?

Read it but didnt understand it.

I haven't seen any replies from you on this thread - is your only interest to denigrate the OP ? Strange reason to post as everyone else has been so helpful.

have you nothing ele to do?

:(
