I'm coming from a Dualit so it's gotta be good, and be able to fit CRUMPETS :D without having to squash them down!.

Can't afford a Dualit now or anything like it, so we'll say budget is about £50

Cheers,

G

/edit there is a kinda of toast of on which? but I am not a member so I can't read it, if any members could tell me the winner and the price it would be much appreciated! :D

/edit four slice please unless its just to good not to consider in a two slice :)

Leave the house , visit the store..

How will that help? He's asking for recommendations.

Unfortunately I can't help either. My toaster was from Tesco, cost about £10 and does the job quite adequately (and fits crumpets).

Tefal Avanti 4 Slice Chrome is what I have; the only gripe is, just like most toasters, they didn't think of asking the bakers what size their loaves are so if you buy a standard loaf, the top of the slice sticks out of the toaster.
Otherwise very happy. had it for several years now too.

That is the Siemens Porsche Toaster..

Its not in your budget, but who can a put a price on being able to toast Porsches!

"What car do you drive then..

..well ive got a Porsche Toaster..

really.. it beats Porsches that much.. it must be quick"

Just in case you dont know as well, Mr Spie has a new Porsche.. and youve got a Porsche Toaster.. yeh

Do you not have a grill on your oven?

I find that works better than any toaster I've tried and has no restrictions on what size things you can put in it.

You can get a Dualit for £50... not sure how good it is though as i've only ever used the proper Dualit toasters!
