Fathers day coming and I need a tool box as don't have one currently at home.

Wife and kids have asked so this is the perfect gift.

What shall they get me, say up to £40

Big (I have got a 2ft level and a full size panel saw in mine), really solid (doubles as a step for my fat behind), dust/shower proof and really well built. Got a little tray and a huge compartment, no cheap bits of plastic hanging off everywhere to break. Mine is 3ish years old and still looks like new (bar a load of dust & paint!)

Smaller one below if your less of a man.

I'm not sure how many tools you have or what sort of size you are looking for. Everyone else has suggested the small ones which would hold hand tools and other bits and bobs. I have one of these which is bigger:

They're brilliantly made, all your hand tools go in the top tray and then you can store other tools (socket sets, power tools, etc) in the main box section.

All depends what you need I guess.

^^ There we go, bargain! Mine was given to me by my mum and sister who used to use it for storing horse stuff incidentally so I never knew how much they were. Just found it on amazon quickly.

I've got a couple of 28" fatmax boxes to supplement the chest and mountain of boxes of random **** I've accumulated. They're solid boxes, I weight 150kg and I use them as a step/ seat regularly.

Also waterproof as they come.

I've got three Stanley branded boxes, all different but all equally well made and they've all managed 3-6 years of trade use. The waterproof fatmax one is great and probably the hardest wearing.
