I think the whole 'spec me something' fad has gone a bit too far...
You go to a store which will sell torches and then buy a rechargable one. Unless you would like me to spec you which store and transport to take?

It was a light-hearted attempt at simply asking if anyone was aware of a 'green' version of rechargable torch - which I have not been able to find. I want to simply leave it in the cradle 24/7 but don't want it using up loads of power all the time unecessarily...
I don't want a straight forward re-chargable one as when you come to use it, it's of course flat... Hence wanting one of the 'cradle' ones...

As it says on the website,
"6 months About 80% of charge is held
12 months About 70% of charge is held (normal nimh would be empty)"
What about a torch and 4 AA rechargable batteries? If so then it would be the Fenix L2D Q5 without a doubt, then get some Vapextech 2900mAh rechargable AA's. If you buy from the Fenix website below just email the shop saying you are from OcUK and saitrix from OcUK told you to email him, he should give you a red filter for the end for free.

Sense of humour? There is nothing funny in this thread.![]()

Not really, on the same link at Vapextech scroll down to the green 2100mAh cells. They are the ones I use, as I don't use the torch all the time so I was worried about them being dead when I wanted it. Has never happened to me with these cells, are excellent.
