Hi guys, need a spec for a computer that is mainly going to be used for stock trading from home. Needs to be able to handle a minimum of dual monitors potentially going up to 6 monitors. Will need to be able to run multiple applications such as Bloomberg terminals etc at once.

We'll start off with a 2 monitor spec for now but it needs to be able to expand to 6 monitors at some point.

Rough budget not including monitors is £400, around £500 with monitors. I know this seems a bit tight, but a spec would be great. If not possible for that budget then spec a build required for whatever price and it will be taken into consideration.

Thanks!

Hmm, seems relatively tight

So 2 monitors, hopefully 16GB RAM (useful when lots of stuff is open), CPU, board etc etc for £500?

Not a huge amount to say. A core i5 with 8GB ram, onboard GPU will be perfectly capable of doing what you need. Core i3 even would be fine. When you want to add additional monitors just stick a new GPU in.

The intel onboard graphics will run two monitors perfectly fine.
