Hi,

My dad has had a heart bypass operation a few months a go and I'd rather he didn't run around in the cold outside so I'm looking for a Treadmill to get him back in shape.

I go to the gym but know nothing about the various makes and models of Treadmills. Some of the ones I've seen are quite expensive but apart from looking flashier I don't really see much difference. So far I'm looking at the:

Reebok Active Runner for £250

I'm not too bothered about the display, although it would be nice to have and want to spend as little as possible without have something I'll throw away after a few months.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Reebok Active Runner for £250

so that's the same as about 10 months gym membership, where you get to use the treadmills and other equiptment as much as you like.

and it takes up no room in your house ;)

That makes sense to get gym membership. Personally I've never used a treadmill, I'd much rather play a game of football with friends but for my dad I definately think there is something to be said for not having the mental boundary of going to the gym to do some exercise because lets face it, exercise is boooring and very few of us actually enjoy it.

"Cross Trainer" you say. Hmmm not sure about that. I always thought a rowing machine was the best all-round machine as it works so many muscles.
