Hi People

I am after a treadmill for home use. Budget £200-£300 preferable £400max

Must
Fold away when not in use, the more compact the better.
Be quiet when in use? (is this an issue as its upstairs in a terraced house)
Be sturdy well built and able to handle running
Be able to take my weight (18 1/2 stone)
Auto incline preferable.

I was looking at the roger black gold anyone use this?

Tbh anything sturdy enough to hold your weight is not gonna be light and probably not gonna be compact at all.
Quiet? Good luck. Pounding away at 18.5st is not gonna be quiet.

imo - trainers and run outside or head to a gym :)

Gym membership.

The reason you'll hear this like a broken record is because it's a much better way to spend your money, and you're almost certain to not actually find what you're looking for anyway with those criteria.

Lack of a gym nearby and added monthly cost of my girlfriends/my membership make the gym a no go. Running/walking outside is fine during the summer but when the weathers **** its an issue for me. It needs to be reasonably compact within reason. I have a cupboard which is around 0.75m by 2m which it will be stored when not in use.

When home equipment gets stored it rarely comes back out. There is a reason why lots of "home gym" equipment sells on free ads papers/websites ;)

I have a nordic track T7.0, it folds up but I doubt there's a cupboard it'd fit in! Bought it for the other half.

I've used it once (prefer the road), it's sturdy but it's noisy.

Mines a NordicTrack C2500 and I can't imagine trying to get that in a cupboard or any powered treadmill.
Unless the cupboard is at least 3 foot deep x 6 foot high.
I also wouldn't like to keep dragging it in & out because it's not exactly light.
You'd soon get fed up OP.
