Spec me a trip to the seaside!

So it comes round to that time of year again... the girlfriends birthday :eek:

(15th April) Now although I still have no idea what to get her (God help me) I am thinking of taking her to the seaside for the day. Mainly because she keeps asking if we can go... :rolleyes:

I am however unsure where to go.

So I ask ye of OCUK to spec me said beach! (I do however have some criteria)

She lives in Milton Keynes so within a day trip from there (Yes she might have to get up early for her birthday!)
Preferably not Bournemouth or Weymouth as I took her there for Valentines day and will get told I'm be unoriginal!
Needs sand.

If you want sunshine, pop over to France and start heading south.

I love cornwall very much bit this has to be a day trip due to the fact its a wednesday and we both have work on the thursday. She is also working the weekend. Thats for the suggestion though!
