Hey Guys,

I was wondering if you could help spec a TV for the house. We have a £1200 budget.

Apologies for the thread but a bit out of date with TV technology at the moment, the last TV i bought was about six years ago.

The requirements we have are
65" Screen
4k or UltraHD(??) - Not too sure on the difference

We would prefer a curved screen but not sure if this would fit into our price range.

We have always had Samsung or LG screens in the past, is it worth sticking to the well known brands such as LG,Sony,Panasonic, Samsung etc. I have seen from my limited research that other brands are starting to crop up that i have not heard of before.

The TV will be used for Sky Q and watching movies, mostly on Blu Ray.

Many thanks in advance

I've got the hisense 65 m5500 model and it's also very impressive for the price.

Have a good think then just grab an m7000 as linked above, it'll be a cracking set.

Im in a similar predicament.

I have got one of those annoying tech itches to get a big 4k TV. I Have one of the last Plasma screens (LG 50") and the picture is amazing with the right content on it but i do want to get a bigger screen.

Been looking at a LG 65UH615V which is a "65 4k TV which i can get for £900. Problem is im thinking stuff might actually look worse on it, blueray, xbox, sky etc.

Anyone else done a similar jump? We sit 8ft away from the tv.
