Spec me a TV card

Hi all, I need some advice on picking a TV card to chuck in a spare PC I am using in my bedroom as a DVD recorder since my standalone went down the other on me and had to be returned for a refund. I can't get freeview, so it will be used to plug a Sky box into it and record from my sky box to the HDD.

I am looking at the following on OCUK:

Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1300 Media Centre Edition

Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150 Media Centre Edition

Are these any good or can someone recommend something else from OCUK choice. Thanks in advance.

HVR-1300 is far better for the money......it is the newer card and will give you Freeview for later

Hauppauge make - generally - great TV cards, it is just their software that is a bit dated.....but this won't matter if you are using MCE
