Anyone got any recommendations for a TV wall mount?

Just looking for a basic low profile one that fits the TV close to the wall as possible. Going to be mounting a 65 inch OLED. Also I don't think I need any of the tilt/turn/pull out features.

Sony have a super over engineered one for £250 that is only 11mm from the wall, but I think is a bit too much. https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07QX8S1DK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_T018V5D380KHC1JA9GS1

However I found an Amazon basic one that sits only 14mm from the wall for £16 but it doesn't look very sturdy https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07QK...abc_C8ZG4JX6MP5PP0DCATV6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Any other recommendations?

Umm... No. Sony has a pull-out and swivel bracket - features you said you don't need - and they've made it fit in a space that's only a fraction over 1cm deep and yet still allows the TV to be (a) pulled out for cable access, and (b) swivel by up to 20 degrees. I'd call that pretty smart engineering, and it's perfect if you absolutely have to have the TV as close to the wall as possible but still require a pull-out/swivel feature. The price reflects the unique engineering solution and the cost of making something in small volumes for what must be quite a limited application.

As for the other bracket, it doesn't need to be that sophisticated or over-engineered to do the job. Most of the weight is acting straight down, so as long as there's a sufficient lip on which to place the hangers then the job is done.

Also, the bracket has been designed, manufactured, powder coated, packed, warehoused, transported by road then sea freight then road from almost half way around the globe, warehoused again, then picked, packed, and shipped to your door (possibly this last bit at no additional cost to you, so someone else paid for that), all for £15.99; oh, and the merchant even paid the fees for you to use your credit or debit card. After all that, you're picky about how sturdy it looks?! Really??

The irony with these super-slim brackets is that DIYers often forget to allow for the cables behind the set. What that means is either the TV never hangs flush, or the installation is left with cables dangling from the bottom of the TV. Ether way, the whole point of the bracket is aesthetics, but it gets ruined by poor- planning or execution at the installation stage. I've flagged it up now, so at least it should be on your mind to think about the cabling before you go any further.
