spec me a USB memory drive

I need a USB memory stick that I can use as a drive for an operating system. I've got 2 netbooks (no dvd drive in either) that I need to set up a new OS on so I need a USB stick that will let me run windows 7 32bit install from

any ideas as to which USB I should be looking at? Would 4 gig be enough or do I really need 8 gig to be safe?

I would go 8 cost is not a big difference but then you also future proof

It doesnt need to be any specific USB drive but for a windows install Id certainly be thinking 8GB as 4 is a bit small really.

I put ubuntu on all my netbooks and I think that only needs about 512 or 1GB!
