I've just bought a 4GB usb drive so that I can keep backup files of my PC and to transport work files to and from the work place.

However, I'm in need of a FREE password manager thing. Idealy I would love one that requires password verifaction when anyone wants to enter the drive via explorer.

I would also like for no software to be installed don the works computer, but would like to be able to transfer files to and from the USB drive at that location.

Thanks

truecrypt is your friend. I keep a encrypted partition on my USB key and the program on a un-encrypted partition, just fire up the program select the encrypted partition and enter the password and use it as a normal.
Everything runs off the usb key without a problem.

How do I set that up because I'm very confused at the moment. Seems very every time I have to transfer files over.
