I've just moved some stuff around in my flat and now my PC is far away from my VM Superhub so I've been forced to use a crumby old Belkin WiFi adapter that can only detect 2G and is always playing up anyway.

I was hoping to find something that will allow me to make the most of my VM 100mb connection and which would be good for online gaming as well, but there's a lot of different options which I don't really understand. E.g., Wireless-N, N+ and AC+.

Do I want something along these lines:

Or should I shell out for one of the more expensive Asus ones:

Edit: btw, I had thought about getting a PCI wireless card but I'm using an mATX board and the only space PCI slot has a sound card in it so that's not really an option.

I was in a similar situation as you and went ahead with the TP Link. It's very good and I get the full speed out of my 50mb VM fibre (get the same download speeds when connected wired and wireless).
