Spec me a vacuum cleaner

Which Miele model ?

And i have never heard of Miele before?

is it decent and what is the air wattage suction power.

we have the cat and dog 2000, 2000W with a turbo brush head for pet hairs

I am no expert on the models but they perform superbly and we haven'thad any problems at all

Even though everything kitchen and washing-related is Miele, my parents have gone for Dysons for years.
Nowt wrong with them, just pricey.

I've no direct experience with Miele vacuum cleaners, but I suspect they'll be rather good :)

We had a Dyson for about 8 months, it just **** its pants and died one day. Cheap, mass-produced Chinese tat.

Was your warranty voided or something?

Dyson came out and serviced my parents one free 6 months after the warranty ended. Also gave a free replacement hose after my mum caught the original on a nail and tore a hole in it.

And while the Henry was great when we were doing the building work in the house, it doesn't have anywhere near as much suck as the DC23 Animal Dyson we have.

Our Henry hoover that was our wedding present in 1981 was swiftly brought back out of the cupboard and has never once failed us. Don't even know why we bothered with the Dyson, it was the wife's choice.

That is ironic because Dysons' are not made in China

Have a cylinder Animal Dyson and one thing I will say for it is that unlikke all the cylinders i've had before, the turbo brush for animal hair is designed much better and doesn't clog up/get weaker unlike all the ones i've had before. Makes my life a lot easier with having 3 cats.

We are into our 8th year with our Dyson upright and no problems to report whatsoever.

Like anything you get good one and you get bad ones.

Friends of ours use a Panasonic Upright which they swear is the greatest vacuum known to mankind.
