Spec me a value conroe rig

Friend considering building a rig. At the moment leaning towards an AM2 build. I'm just doing a quick topic to find out if it's possible to build a value conroe rig?

Which ram? (prob 1gig)
Which mobo?

If you want a good clocker for cheap then SM666 is the spec for you. However a not very good clocker but very cheap would be:
