Well I tried looking around for a thread which was talking about value phones but you all seem to have more money than sense ;)

Anyway yeh so as title I need to know which is the best value phone. My needs are basic.

Needs to store at least 50 text messages and have an alarm clock. Most importantly it has to be thin and not bulky, preferably a metal casing like my (now broken) t610 has but I think I can live with plastic if it's good enough.

Budget around £50-60. edit: Oh and I don't need a sim card but if it comes with one I presume I can just unlock the phone.

Might be able to get a V3 for that sort of price on egay.

You could get an L6 or a V220. Theres Nokia 8850s and loads more. Do a bay of e search for £50-60 in mobile section and there's loads there (plus postage remember).

You can get loads of entry level phones for that price brand new from any outlet, but you'll get more bang for ya buck online.
