Firstly, I'm very sorry for my lack of knowledge on this, I don't know anything about computers.
I just need a system for word processing and general internet usage. I don't really play games, but may get back into CS, so I wouldn't mind getting something that would run Source. I don't need anything overly impressive though. I may not even be able to run it at all on my budget of £200. No big loss if I can't do any gaming.
What are my options? I looked on a competitor's site and base units seem quite pricey. I looked at refurbished ones, but the systems within my budget seem quite out of date.
I could my the bits seperately. My brother will be able to put it all together for me. Would the member's market be a good place to look?
