Spec me a video editing pc

Hi all,

I want to custom build a video editing PC so it needs to be quite powerful but as cheap as possible for the parts please.

I'm thinking 8gb RAM, at least 1TB HDD and the rest I'll let you decide if you don't mind please!

When you say cheap as possible, is there any rough budget?

video editing and those type of programs tend to need a high spec pc with plenty of ram, a large fast hard drive and a good vga setup, low budget will give low to medium results

still dont see much point in having a medium to fast cpu and loads of ram if your hard drive can't keep up, for me a sdd or at least a 10k one,

1 tb of slow space is of no use for some with video stuff, i'd stick in a 256gb ssd and see how i go from there, can always add more space if needed
