Spec me a WAN Ethernet Router - Which I can tweak beyond belief

Hi all,

I am after a decent router that I can tweak, I have always been a fanboy of the older gen ADSL routers like the workhorse and good router that was DG834GT with custom DGTeam firmware

However there are some requirements I would like from said router

- Decent Manufacturer
- WAN Ethernet port for use with FTTC (PPPoE)
- Atleast 1Gigabit port if not more
- Must have the usual WiFi with decent settings
- Decent QoS features or throttling per port/IP?
- Any built in monitoring/graphs would be good
- VPN PPTP and IPSEC would come in great use (not just passthrough)
- Ability to load custom firmware on if there are any about on the web to give me more control/more features/better features etc and get the most out of my router.

I have been clicking on to DG834GT's in the past because of the chipset, the features on custom firmware. Obviously with regards to FTTC you dont have to rely on an ADSL chipset anymore but I still want a decent workhorse of a router with lots of things to play with

Also maybe some additional physical ports like USB for instance
