Hello fellow home makers.

Currently I am using my clothes maiden outside in the sun, which is ok, but a little bit annoying taking it outside all the time. Its time it is upgraded to a proper line to hang the smalls out on.

Anyone got any recommendations? Line or Gig?

One of my neighbours stuck a 6'6" fence post into the ground at the bottom of their garden last week and strung a line from it up to the house. Which I find quite amusing. Most people use those rotary clothes dryer things in their gardens these days.

Nothing stopping you from having both?
Lines are better for sheets, whirlygigs for socks.

I'd recommend putting the gig in the middle of some decking, then when it rains you can dump everything on the floor and then gather it up quickly.

It says it can be pinned down if needed. Worth a shot for 22 quid I think. 100 quid is a lot to sink when something cheaper might do the trick.

Yes, worth it for £22. I wouldn't be paying a 100 quid either for a washing line.

Drying clothes outside is meant to be about money saving. Might aswell use a dryer for that much.
