Surely it depends on what type of watches you go for. I prefer sleek without the fuss in the middle. Different people different watches....simple!

Edit: I don't know anything about watches, my grandfather gave me an old Baume & Mercier when i was younger so i've always felt tied to them.

I wouldn't buy a new Tag for under £1K but second-hand you can get a great bargain if you hunt around. I got a Tag (quartz but still nice) like this for £450.
