I have this watch I rather like, I used to wear it every day and the strap was worn out. I don't really know where the best place to buy a strap is, or what strap would suit it, I'm thinking perhaps a brown leather strap with a nice texture?

So help me OcUK watch experts, spec me a strap...

Either go to your local watch/jewelry store (they usually have stands on the counter with tons of them...) and browse for one you like. They'll tell you what width you need. Or, find out the width yourself and go on-line. You could even quickly throw some straps onto the watch in Photoshop to give you an idea what you think looks good.

That's the lug size. Now you know what to look for. I'd take it to a watch shop which sell Hirsch straps and buy one there, they'll then fit it for you. It's not hard however it means you wont need to buy the tools :)

I've fitted straps before, and taken links out of/added links to a strap, always managed with just a set of jewellers screwdrivers, had already ordered the 20mm one. ;)

I have a 20mm Hirsch Carbon leather strap, great quality and waterproof too. Had the Osiris and that was also good.

The Forest will be a fine strap for sure.
