hello guys

Im debating between getting a kit or buying the parts inderviduley

I have a budget of 300 to make this work, its also fitting into a cm storm trooper and i want a 360 rad in the front and maybe a 240 in the roof if needed.

It will be cooling a i5 760 overclocked and a 6990 overclocked, this budget is without the gpu block as i will have to order from ekwb themselves.

Do i need more rad than 360mm for these components?

So what can you guys spec me?

Cheers

Ideally you want 480 worth of radiators but a single 360 would suffice.

Tbh cheapest least hassle option would be an external 1080 radiator...would give more than enough radiator space, allow you to either run passively or have 4 low rpm 180mm fans so little noise too...

I could put a 360 in the front and another 240 in the roof?

Will that be ok? I want to keep everything inside the case

Could i get a kit and add another rad and a couple of fittings or go custom loop?

The best thing you could do right now I would say is to get inside the case and take some measurements to potential clash points, have a good search about of other storm trooper build logs THEN start planning what you want to try squeeze inside it :)

But yes IMO 360 + 240 would be ample for what you plan to cool :)

I already have the case, just abit concerned about space in the roof, will defo get a thick 360 in the front

Could someone spec me a rough kit to get started with.

The roof will only hold a slim 240 rad with onw set of fans is push, but will get a 360 standing up in the front, but i need to check HDD space first
