Spec me a waterproof camera

In a few weeks I'm off on my travels for 3 weeks and don't want to carry around my DSLR for fear of losing it or it getting pinched

Can anyone recommend a compact digital camera that's waterproof and durable please?

What's your budget? Are you thinking mirrorless or a fixed lens compact like the RX100?

Not sure on budget not a great deal maybe £200 tops

Olympus tg-4 can be had for that price on the bay now so that is where my money would go.

If it doesn't need waterproofing at depth, then the AW1 second hand isn't such a bad thing, looks like around £200-300 on the 'Bay, though doesn't go to below 15m iirc. But as a durable camera it's one of the better ones.
