Hi all,

Well, I need a Wi-Fi receiver for the simple fact that mine is SO bad. I have an Abit Air Pace WiFi, which doesn't have drivers for Win 7 (you got to use some fake Atheros drivers) and its range is bad. 1 room away, myh signal quality drops to 2 bars at times, and won't connect from the other side of the house, whilst a laptop gets 3/4 signal quality easily.

Requirements:
- Can cover a huge distance (to connect from far away)
- Best speeds at a distance (this doesn't make much sense but you know what I mean :P)
- Be STRICTLY PCI-Express X1
- As cheap as possible :p

First spec me thread! OcUK, help me out!

Does your router support Wireless-N? If so, any device should do & solve your problem. Been using TP-LINK devices & can't fault them & relatively inexpensive.

For one of my desktop PCs, which has a Wireless G PCI card, I got one of this which has made a difference.

EDIT: You should also consider Powerline Networking

Nope, and not doing the switch any time soon, as PS3 doesn't support Wireless-N I think, so it's useless :P

It seems like from OcUK there is only one that fits the bill: this, and for some reason, its pre-order only atm.
