I came across some Windows tablets the other day for as little as £99, in the past I never bothered looking into them because I didn't think that you could get x86 tablets for so little. I was genuinely surprised that you could get one for as little as £99, so I am thinking of maybe getting one instead of a new phone.

From looking at a few I would like;
A nice screen (so IPS or better) that is 720p+, 9"+
At least 2GB of memory although 4GB would be nice
An additional USB port so I can connect a keyboard and mouse (USB 3 would be nice)
Intel Aton Cherry Trail would be nice
One that connects to the mobile network would be nice

Looking for one that is £100ish

You can absolutely get great tablets for <100 with those specs, if you look at chinese retailers. Can't name names here but you can find it easily.

I got one recently Chuwi Vi10 Pro, but there are plenty to choose from. Xiaomi ones are pretty good as well.

I was hoping for some suggestions on a models, and also don't really want to get non-branded\cheap Chinese tablet, I am happy to pay more for certainty.

I've ordered a Teclast X98 Plus 3G. Seems to have great reviews and great battery life. Yes, it's chinese, but it's apparently well built and is branded. I should have it soon hopefully. Check out the reviews for it.

I would suggest Linx 1010 3G if you want from a UK company, not a Chinese company but it will cost around £179 for 10.1 inch with 3G version.

I have nothing against a Chinese company, I just don't want a cheap non brand Chinese tablet that has no customer support or customer support that would require the product to be sent half way across the world in the even of an RMA.
