spec me a wireless access point ?

On virgin media have the superhub 150mb can anyone recommend a decent one ? looking to run an ethernet cable from the superhub to the access point as I presume this is way better than using a wireless extender ? will any old cheapo do or should I be looking for a specific spec ?
 
Cheers I was thinking sub £50 though

I don't want a wireless one I want one that uses the ethernet to connect to the hub then transmits a wireless signal

I don't want one that picks up the wireless signal then transmits it again, does such a device exist ? I want to run a flat cat cable to the device from the superhub then that device broadcast the wireless as well as the wireless being broadcast from the superhub

I think you misunderstand I just want a basic wireless extender ? im not looking to replace the superhub i want a box that sits in another room and runs to the superhub via ethernet and broadcasts a wireless signal ? like using an old second router ? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-028-TP&groupid=46&catid=1837&subcat=2868 I thought this would do the job ? ethernet from superhub to this box then it broadcasts the wireless signal ?

Like a wireless repeater that instead of picking up the wireless signal from the superhub then repeating picks up from an ethernet cable then broadcasts wireless
